You’re here to change things. So why isn’t it happening yet?
You want to make a difference. You want your work to matter - but you feel like you’re hitting a brick wall.
Do any of these sound like you?
- You’re a natural change-maker who can’t get the decision-makers to listen to your ideas
- You’re stuck in work that’s not playing to your strengths, while your passion project gathers dust on a shelf
- You’re blazing a trail – but the world isn’t ready for your ideas yet
- You know exactly the impact you want to have – but you’re stuck in self-doubt and procrastination
- You’re sitting on ideas that could genuinely shift things in your organisation, sector, or community and you’re not sure where to start
If you said yes – I get it. And I can help.
I work with natural change-makers, idealists, creatives, and leaders. I help you get clarity on who you are and what you deeply want and step into a bolder, more visible version of yourself so your work can have the impact it deserves.
Who I work with
The people I work best with tend to share a handful of things:
- They have a genuine vision – something they’re burning to make happen and the tenacity to pursue it
- They feel like the odd one out in the rooms they’re in – their values, creativity, or depth don’t quite fit the culture around them
- They’re frustrated that people in positions of influence aren’t getting behind their ideas
- They know their work is strong, but struggle to communicate it in a way that moves people to act
- They want more confidence – but not at the expense of who they actually are
Some are stepping into leadership and want their presence to match their ambition. Some are established leaders who have lost their footing in a culture that doesn’t value what they bring. Some have achieved a great deal and are quietly asking what comes next. All of them are ready to stop being held back.
Wherever you are, this work starts in the same place: with you, and with what you’re actually here to do.
Every coaching relationship is built around you – your goals, your blockers, your unique brilliance. But across everything I do, the intention is the same: to help you realise your potential, communicate with the kind of authority that galvanises others, and blaze the trail you’re here to blaze.
Clarity, Leadership Identity and Vision
Know who you are. Know what you stand for. Know where you’re going.
This is the foundation. Without it, even the most talented people end up reacting rather than leading – consumed by the current fire instead of steering towards the bigger horizon.
We’ll do the deep work of defining your leadership identity: your values, your strengths, the experiences that have shaped you, and the vision that drives you. Not as a polished statement for your LinkedIn profile but as a lived, felt, unshakeable sense of who you are and what you’re here to do.
When that’s clear, everything changes. Decisions get easier. Your message gets sharper. You stop trying to fit in and start leading from your own ground. And the people you need to influence can finally see what you’re actually about.
Executive Presence
Communicate with the authority and authenticity that makes people want to follow you.
Presence isn’t about being the most polished person in the room. It’s about being the most grounded. The most real. The person whose ideas land because they’re delivered with conviction, not just competence.
For many of the people I work with, the challenge isn’t the quality of their thinking — it’s getting that thinking across in a way that moves people. In high-stakes moments — the board presentation, the pitch to a difficult senior stakeholder, the speech that could shift opinion – nerves, over-preparation, or a communication style that doesn’t yet match their ambition can get in the way.
We work on both the internal and external dimensions: the nervous system regulation that keeps you grounded under pressure, the vocal and physical tools that communicate authority without arrogance, and the authentic style that builds trust with any audience – from a sceptical executive to a crowd of three thousand.
Strategic Networking and Influence
Build the relationships that will unlock your vision – on your own terms.
The most important changes in organisations, sectors, and society don’t happen through brilliant ideas alone. They happen when the right people get behind those ideas. And that requires relationships.
For action-takers and change-makers, this is often the hardest part. Networking can feel transactional, political, and deeply at odds with the direct, values-driven way you want to operate. But building strategic relationships purposefully — in a way that feels like you — is a skill, not a personality trait.
We’ll get clear on who you need to influence and why, develop the kind of presence and introduction that opens doors rather than closing them, and build a strategy for gaining trust and credibility with the decision-makers who currently aren’t listening. Because the vision you’re carrying is too important to be held back by people who just don’t get it yet.
What the journey looks like
Coaching with me is not a quick fix or a box-ticking exercise. It is a genuine, focused investment in who you are as a leader and communicator — and in the impact you are here to make.
We’ll typically work together over three to six months, with regular sessions that are honest, practical, and built around real progress. You’ll be challenged to lift your head up from the immediate and think longer term. You’ll be pushed to take action rather than perfect your thinking endlessly. And you’ll be supported to develop the confidence, tactics, and communication tools to get where you actually want to go.
The goal isn’t just to feel better. The goal is to be more effective, more visible, and more able to make the difference you’re here to make — against all the odds, if necessary.

“If I hadn’t worked with Nicky this year, there’s no way I would have had the success I’ve had. She gave me the confidence to plan and launch my own projects, including an EP and encouraged me to increase my prices. I now do much more meaningful work, feel more at ease making money and always prioritise my own creative work.”

“Working with Nicky has been a life-changing experience. She helped me to understand what defines me as a person and an artist. The most important lesson has been to enjoy the journey rather than focus on the end result. Since working with Nicky I’ve understood that whatever I wanted was right there in my life already, I just had to see it. Nicky has helped me become a happier person and find the magic that made me love my creative practice in the first place. ”

About Nicky
I’ve spent over twenty years at the intersection of communication, creativity, and leadership. As a former radio journalist and broadcaster, I learned how to find the story that matters and tell it in a way that moves people. As a coach trained in NLP, somatic practice, and performance psychology, I learned how to help people access the version of themselves that was always there – just waiting for the right conditions to emerge.
I work best with people who are genuinely trying to do something meaningful – change-makers, trailblazers, leaders who refuse to accept that this is as good as it gets. People who are sensitive enough to care deeply and ambitious enough to keep going anyway. People who are done with playing small.
The way through is never to become someone else. It’s to become more fully, unapologetically, powerfully yourself. And then to learn how to bring the world with you.
